I've got one on the Greylandy. They are manufactured by Bearmach in the UK. Well built, strong unit .. opens with the rear door which is great. They are a bit tricky to fit because they open with the door you have to line them up exactly or you might end up with a rear door that only opens halfway. From what I've seen on the market they are a lot cheaper and probably as good as anything, if not better.

You can also buy them form karcraft in Sydney. See www.karcraft.com.au (http://www.karcraft.com.au)

Cheers GreyLandy.

I am keen to get one and was weighing up whether to get Graeme Cooper's at some $700 or this type at $500 odd.

So you have had yours for a while I gather.

I would have to move my license plate and Light, as mine sits down along the rear xmember.

The wheel carrier would be better for me, not only for the wheel, but would provide a good brace to weld on the HF Autotune Mounting Bracket.

Cheers for your feedback.

I only wish your tents were well priced for me. I know they are good quality, and I am after a rooftop tent. But I will just have to keep watching for a second hander to pop up.

Cheers again.

I bought one from Rovacraft in WA and it's very strong and opens with the door. It's got grease nipples for giving it the occassional shot, attaches to the chassis at the bottom and needs a couple of holes drilled at the top, lines up with the holes for the original wheel carrier and it's quite easy to fit. It's also got a fitting for a hi lift jack.
Cost around $630 from memory (what's left of it anyway!!!) and is made by Scorpion in the UK.

Bugga, Wish I had your thread last night. I hope I am not getting a copy but I ordered one from Landy Spares aka Ebay from Victoria.

It won't be the 'C version as I need it pre 2002, which is what the C version accomodated for.

However, Land Ranger Spares said good luck with getting it Straight, and not at an angle (referring to a Copy).

I am already annoyed, and I haven't even got it yet.
