G'day GLRO-ians,
Just finished the reccee for the Beerwah trip. Mick and Craig had joined me for this trip and we have found some really good stuff to put you and your LR's the the test.
On this note, DIFF LOCKS ARE MANDATORY!! Rear only is minimum.
Some fo the sections that would of been fine last time (about a year ago since I was in there) without are diff lock only now. Huge ruts and plenty of cross-axle type terrain is part and parcel of this trip so be prepared as well as some mud for good measure. With 3 vehicles we completed the run by 12:30 PM and started at BP Cabooulture at about 8:45AM so 10 vehicles this will take some more time but should finish about 2-3pm as a guess but like most trips, recoveries are expected and take time.
This is a Red (with occasional G4 Orange) rated trip so you get the idea
See you all at the BP Caboolture at 8:30-9:00AM on the 21st October.
