NSW Forum Xmas Party- 2-3rd Dec- Orange NSW

Hi all, as in the trips forum i have advertised the Xmas party at Bryces (Roverones) property near orange for the 2-3rd of December, which is only 7 weeks away, given alot of people are busy that time of year with other parties etc i am putting this up for discussion now to make sure its feasible.

Ok, the plan so far, i am meeting Bryce in a week or two to discuss final details, is to meet at my place on the saturday morning at around 8:30-9am to form a convoy to head to orange. Set up camp for the weekend and then bryce has some cool tracks in and around the orange forrests and on his property. There was also discussion of going over to bathurst for a couple of hours, not all night, to go to a few of the pubs, we can all pile into a couple of cars if someone will volunteer to be a designated driver, and maybe some laser tag (the bathurst run on the saturday night is optional, just something different, as if there is a fire ban we wont have a fire to sit around). I will post more details as bryce and myself work things out. This will basically be like and Ace's BBQ, only for this one you will need to be totally self sufficient water wise as bryce is struggling to keep water (for drinking etc topped up with the drought).

I am sure Bryce will be along soon to add more details but i will add more if he cant/doesnt.

This is going to be a good one with some awsome tracks that noone on the forum has done before, nothing from my BBQ's will be revisited, all new stuff. Matt

Sounds good Matt, I should be able to make that weekend as things would have calmed down at work. Would it be possible to bring a few of the guys with from our 4WD club? It should only be the landy owners ;o)

This date was posted elsewhere in the forum, well before the LROC date was published. The LROC traditional date is on the last Sunday in November but they couldn't book the place until the date it is.

I'm a bit annoyed as well as I intended to go this year after missing the last couple on purpose (didn't like the locations).

Those not wanting to run into Bathurst on Saturday night, we can do a night drive in a interesting place to test your night skills.

Ace one day the planets will line up, both of our families will have nothing planned, all the kids are well, both our cars will be working 100%, we'll both have spare cash and neither of us will have to go to work

No worries Dobbo, we will pick a weekend later in January and do a watagans/stockton camping weekend. MIght even be able to make it more than 2 days for those who can make it and find another location for the third day. Matt

Goodo, the more the merrier. Roverone just messaged me and he tells me he is planning on doing a strip tease on the saturday night so that should be interesing. :D
