Hi Guys
A mate called in this arvo to show off his new toy,a german muscle car.Took me for a blast, all I can say is WOW.
Its a 1984 2 door Merc AMG 500SEC(or something like that)in immaculate condition for its age,and boy does it fly,and handle like its on rails,And got to love that V8 scream thru the straight thru exhaust.
$15000 for a lovely piece of automobile history.
Had to laugh, went thru a couple of s bends heading out of town at 170ks,he nailed it coming out of the bend the acceleration was awsome, then there are blue lights flashing everywhere, some poor unfortunate had had an accident,we went past and the fire and rescue people were wagging their fingers at as,the plods didnt look too impressed either but were too busy to deal with us,OOPS:cool:

so who's a naughty boy?
and on the subject of old mercs, her's is a 450 slc.
it wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding from a standing start, but for a 1973 car it sure boogies after 80 kph, and stops faster than most, you really have to look behind if you want to stop, otherwise there may be an addition to the boot.
ah' ya gotta love classic cars! [forget the fuel costs!]

Hi Harry
We call him CRASH due to his habit of writing off flying coffins(Valiants his favorite car, what is it with mad kiwis and vals?????)
Funnyily enough he always walks away, usually unskathed. He also had a bike accident a year ago, cuddled a roo at speed,$15grand to fix his brand new uninsured Guzzi, yet he is still here to talk about it.His number aint up yet.

The 500 was an awsome peice of machinery. Very expensive in its day too. It is the 2 door?

A dickhead is a bit harsh, the guy is an out and out LOONEY,and he will tell you that himself,he is a nutter BUT a top bloke who will go well out of his way to help anybody out.
Loves his 2 door muscle cars, has a full on Charger and an XB 2 door "under construction" in his shed.
