Defender 90 for sale

I bumped into a bloke at a car yard yesterday, He is selling his def 90 green 2001 model i think. only has 76000 kms on it, full service history. he is thinking of selling it to a local stealer for .....$25000. let me know what you think. The guy who is selling the car does not get out much and says he dosnt like people? If i had the money i would have it myself but i have to sell my 2 door 110 first. Any thoughts?

PS. Its got snokal, rock slidders. wing top cheque plate and front A bar, and all the usual stuff, air con, remote lock and stuff like that . Gee i really want that truck.
10 bucks says that i come across the car in a stealers yard and he will want 35 for it and only part X my 110 for 10. bugger!

Offer him $10,000 cash plus the 2 door Defender. Tell him how much more the 110 will carry, he can put curtains in the back and hide (if he doesn't like people) and he'll get a better ride due to the longer wheel base.

Your offer will give him a car better suited to his needs and cash him up too. The stealer will only leave hime cashless with a less than optimal vehicle.

Worth a try.

ide be going to anyone who will lend you the money! thats cheap! at 25grand you could sell it within a week for 30grand. but i wouldnt..
ide park it beside darthrover and have a matching pair:twisted:
