Hi Dullbird.
I had a look at one on a Disco1 the otherday, the finish on the plastic is ordinary. But I guess for the price as long as they do the intended job.
I got a brand new Genuine Landrover Disco2(Safari) snorkel for the same price as the Airflow, but the postage to WA made it bareley a bit lees than buying a Safari ex ARB.But at least its a genuine with the Landy badge on it:cool:

have a airflow one on my disco, ok for the price, plastic does look a bit cheap, but from a distance it looks fine :D bit of work to install though, but don't know how much easier the other brands are to install on a s1 disco.

Hi Dullbird, Alan at british4wd is selling snorkels, from memory they are Airtech and are better than the Airflow for the same price. Matt

i have an airflow on mine, nice unit for the price. has taken a heap of knocks and has a battle scratches and just keeps on keeping on.

fitting it was a bit trickier than the safari but for 100+ $'s less i still think it is great value.

they have a deeper more textured finish than the safari...

does the job, doesnt look as pretty, costs a bucket load less but if looks is what you want, safari is the go...

I have looked up close at them and prefer the style and look of the safari.
Plus i have had about 4 trucks with safari and like them and pushed them to the limit (ie swashed them against trees and stuff). Bit of a person that likes to go with stuff i know. Maybe a bad trate i know.

I thought the Safari was expensive

Yeah southdown stuff is nice But bloody expensive even when you are in the UK. I made my own by getting the top and then makeing the pipe out of a mantec snorkle. Safari top are impossable to get hold of in the UK

So when are the Safari's arriving? Will they be for all models? and will they be outragiously priced because they have Land Rover on them?

These ones

They are going to the UK from safari Victoria.
Just standard Landy ones not gen ones IE same as you pick up from ARB shops.
But i can get one from him when i buy the disco that i want.
He ships over a couple of containers full to the Uk a couple of times a year. He only deals in Landy stuff so they are all Rangie , Disco and defender ones
