Levuka trip, who's keen

Okay people,

Since it was brought up, who would be keen for a Levuka trip? I was possible thinking of a date that wouldn't cobntradict any of out already proposed trips. I noticed that Aus day weekend hasn't been taken, would maybe a suitable weekend? Mick PM me if you have any other ideas.

It's a good park and at that time of the year we should get some rain to make the tracks...well... interesting and challenging to say the least. Camping is also good with plenty of flat and grassy areas with the occasional cow pat to contend with (better than most 4WD parks let me tell you. Showers are hot, Dunnies are clean and no smelly 'chunder-boxes' so it's female friendly.

Around Australia day sounds alright. We could even sing Advance Australia Fair around the fire :o :o

Need to buy some camping stuff too, might have to look at the camping shop at next meeting!!

So Australia day weekend it is buy the looks ATM.

It's vacant in the calender and would fit in nicely after Cityview and before The Springs so there's a few options. I would probably be staying the Sat/Sun myself at this stage.

Okay, date set so now who's keen. Tracks to suit all standards of LR's in our great club :)

Yep I'm the same as long as I have not scratched my new (Maxi Drive Sticker) I will be coming. I will drive down Friday late arvo and come back Sunday lunch.
Its a great park can not wait to go back like Rover.

Okay people, first of all sorry I wasn't able to attend the meeting his evening as I had a family thing on, but I should catch up with some of you at Cityview next Saturday (13th).

Back to Levuka. Price-wise, it's $35 a night per vehicle. I also need to know who's going by at least next week (friday) so I can ring the owners to let them know how much room we need.

Friday arrivals- I will also be showing up Friday arvo but if you arrive before me, just tell them you're in the GCLRO club and go from there.

That's fine. For a day trip, cost is around the $20-25 mark IICR

We'll probably most likely be going out for a run at 9AM in the morning, have lunch and maybe a couple of hours in the arvo as usual.

No worries, I was reading your post on your oil dramas and I thought you were most unlikely to be attending.
