EPC pop ups

I'm unsure whether this is the problem that garrycol had with xp on start up after installing / removing EPC

in our case we couldn't get EPC to work in xp it came up with unrecoverable system errorrs so uninstalled it and was left with these pop ups on start up

a dealer systems window and a message asking you to wait 2 minutes for windows to start and the press ok.

if it is here is the way to delete it

Start
Run
Regedit (be careful in here)
hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows nt\currentversion\winlogon
...legalnoticecaption
...legalnoticetext
Delete both files


Has anyone managed to get EPC to work in xp professional?

This is the message I got in windows startup
"a dealer systems window and a message asking you to wait 2 minutes for windows to start and the press ok."

However you didn't have to wait for 2minutes - hitting OK allowed windows to continue to start up and every thing was OK - just annoying.

After this EPC worked OK, windows worked OK and it was on Windows XP professional.

So yes it worked OK on XP professional - just interrupted windows startup. Annoying because I do not leave my puter running so go through a startup regularly.

if you follow my previous post when you get into legalnoticecaption and legalnotice just hilite the messages 'dealer systems' and the 'wait 2 min' they wont bother you again. has anyone come across this error message before (I think it has been inserted right)
