Ok
Prototype finished and is now at the fabrication shop to be jigged and fabricated.
They will be a h/duty front pan guard/ diff slider with a rear steering arm guard and mounting point for a rear s/damper, all in the 1 guard. It will also be metal sprayed for corrosion and impact resistance.
These guards will fit Classic R/R, D1, D2, and defender.
Will be manufacturing 20 at this stage and should have a price in a week or so.
All for now

Sign me up for one. Dont suppose I could talk you into a rear bar ? Cut my rear 1/4 panels off tonight and it really needs a bar.

Since I'm running Air Lockers I have no need for a winch.
2 x diff guards will do.

Justin, as discussed previously, I'll definatly grab one. I have destroyed too many steering dampners in my time on offending rocks.
When you have them up and running, will collect and pay.

Hey Justin
I may also, price pending. Do you/anyone have anything to protect the handbrake drum on the ZF with LT230 as it was landing/sliding on the drum which broke my VC housing.
Cheers Guy

I've never encounterd this issue even with my VC transfer on Aquarangie. You were just unlucky I guess, but nothing is impossible I guess.
The thickness of the handbrake drum it would be bloody hard to break and you know me, I've almost broken everything on a Rangie once

Hey Trav
The handbrake drum is fine - it didn't break, but the cast alloy casing of the vc unit did. The handbreak drum is the lowest point in the middle of the car, just trying to see if there is a slider/plate or something to stop breaking another housing.

Trav,
I had a look at Justin's proto type the other day and defiantly is the goods. Thick steel and protects everything around the front diff centre. Even if you caught the steering arm half a foot away from the diff guard it would only bent may be an inch before the diff guard would restrict it from going any further. Easy to fix an inch bend on the track.
I think you will like the look of them.
