G'day all,
Today the Land Rover Club of Brisbane hosted a trip to Beerwah State Forest, trip leader was our very own aquarangie
I think I can honestly say that a good day was had by all. My meager collection of photo's can be found here http://www.bloodvale.com/site/PhotoAlbum/Beerwah-LRoCB-29-10-2006.html
Some teasers of what fun we had are as follows:

You lot really irritate me. Least you could have done was convince your treasurer to let the secretary come along....
Glad you had fun.
Ya bastards !

Maybe he got lost on the way to the coast?
Nah actually he was going wind-kiting or some such straight after the day :D
Certainly made for some interesting clearances though

I took the windsurfers as there was a strong wind warning, so that I could 4wd in the morning and go to Caloundra for a sail board in the afternoon. Unfortunately when I got to Caloundra the wind was only 8-10 knots so just sat on the beach for a while watching some others not go very fast, but it was better than sitting in traffic...which I got to do later anyway.
Cheers Guy

ok guys there are some pics and a very rough trip report up if u would like to see check out http://home.wildit.net.au/worraps/ please note registration is required to view the gallery should only take a few seconds
and registration will also allow you to upload any pics and or video that u have and would like to add only thing i ask is if pics can be resized to 1024/768 to reduce image size just to make things a little bit more dial up friendly and if anybody would like to do a more detailed and better worded trip report i would be happy to post it :)

Thanks to all who attended. As you gathered, these are the sort of tracks you'll always find on my trips
Bar the incident on Phil's Disco (door damage on an offending rock ledge) everyone went home pleased and fatality-free. It's been a while since I ran a Brisbane LR club trip and this one turned out to be sucessful. Only hicup was the 'alternate' track was actually a no-through track with a smelly puddle of water greeting uas at one end, they type that keeps sinking and sinking to oblivion  .
Pics look good too, and your brief trip report good as well thanks Duane.
