Well Sith and I went to Whitehills sth of mandurah for some fishing this morning, I left the coopers 285's on and dropped the air out of the tyres.. well talk about impressed, the sand is that white powedery stuff and had been some trouble for the 4wd's before us as you could see where they had bogged down and had some very slowy going. After owning a 87Rangie and having the disco I wasn't expexcting the ease that the Defender had on the sand, the Dieso was just ticking over and not labouring at all even after stopping to fish, restarting and climbing over the sand storm wall wasn't even an effort..in fact it was so impressive that my passenger has listed his patrol for sale this arvo and is on the hunt for a fender;)
I'm really spewing I missed the Lancelin dune trip now.. I could have done it towing the Playdoh:p:p...
and no I didn't take a camera or a CB..sorry Brad but hand signals work fine:D:D
