Just got back from the motor show and I was a bit disappointed.

I am getting concerned about PAG (Ford's Premium Automotive Group).

No Jaguar
No Aston Martin
No Defender (is it only me, or do I get the sense LRA are embarrassed about the Defender?????) I would not be surprised if they did not bring the upgraded Defender out here.

A friend is in the market for Cayenne (  ) and asked for us to get a brochure for him (fortunately Porsche were also not there) but I thought I would get him a brochure on the Rangie Sport.....arghhhh....sorry sir, but we do not have any brochures!!!

Cannot be a good day for Jag when they do not show up to the biggest motor show in the country....

Anyway....just my bitching for the night....

motor shows arent what they used to be......
it all changed and went downhill ever since they moved the venue to darling harbour......
and thats about the time i stopped going to them......

i have been once or twice since then...only because i had some free tickets from work.....
and all that did was confirm my theory above......

i just cant be bothered paying good dollars and time to be dissapointed.....

Hey Noddy, what do they charge to get in to this 'event' these days?

Entry cost was $17, same as when i went in 2003. I was a little dissapointed, as Noddy said no Jag, no Volvo, only Land Rover and they didnt have the new defender. Now given they had the new Freelander, the updated fender should have been there. But, no point complaining as noddy said LRA doesnt really care. Matt

no VolvoVolvo was next to LR.

I went last night & was very disappointed in the LR stand.
The supercharged Sport in Zermatt Silver looked very plain under the lights & the Atacama Sand they chose for the "dressed up" Disco3 looked washed out. It's not a bad colour normally but looked paler than it should on the stage.
