I will be heading out to Nerang Forest for a mountain bike ride on Sunday from 2-3pm. Nerang forest is a series of tracks running along ridge lines with some small up hill sections and some cracking down hill sections. Has tracks which cater for all standards of rider.

There are hundreds of tracks in the forest but I plan to just go in for about an hour and do a small loop which takes in a bit of everything!!

Let me know if you are keen to come along and sign up here. Meeting at the Nerang Velodrome at 1.45pm. Bring plenty of water and idealy a spare inner tube just in case;)

Let me know if anyone has any questions.

Aye, Mick

is it capable of recovering a mountainbike and rider and transport them back to the vehicles? :o
Don't think i'll be able to keep up with Mick, not after seeing him on a tennis court - in fact i KNOW i won't keep up :(

Have you got a snatch strap or tow rope with that bike of yours:o that way you could attach x-box to the back, then he will keep up with you.

I,m with Weeds, Tennis would be the way to go. Let the young fit blokes who dont weigh 100kg + plumit to their death on a bike, although I'll happily watch the carnage. Could be a Funny home video moment, could win enough to get my portal axles. Come on guys more contenders for the mountain biking. Here's the go, time trials down my access road yeh baby, I can smell the $10,000.

Regards Justin

Sorry for the late reply Paul, been away the last few days and just back on board. Got to pull the pin on the bike ride unfortunately as I have a ton of stuff to do before Monday. Will be heading out again soon though and will keep you posted.

As for time trials down Justin's drive....bring it on:twisted:

Ok I will be in the time trial down Justin's drive. I will be over Justin the weekend after Crystal Creek to practice. You will have to be available to drive my Disco down and pick me up for the next run. Then again I will have the big first aid kit packed and you can follow me down just in case.

he who cycles down justin's drive at speed will be a special kind of man
- no balls, no brains, and no un-broken bones.
and no insurance!

Its good to see you back on line Harry.
We have missed your fast wit. ;)
Its ok about insurance will just hide the injury's till I get to work. Will have to make the bike practice on a Sunday then. Might be hard to hide if I roll in on a wheel chair though. You are wrong about the brains as I have ****-loads off them.:D
