Just getting over BlackBettys spend on HER headjob and the long suffering hot water system puts its hand up.
Just got a Reehm Stellar gas storage system installed. If you belive all the bollocks advertising its the best in gas storage, over 80% effecient, apparantly the heat from the pilot light is enough to keep the stored water hot.
There goes my 4WD show visit,The Red Bull planes and any 4x4 outing soon.GEES I HATE SPENDING MONEY WHEN THE BUCKET IS ALMOST EMPTY:twisted:

Hi Edd
My SHMBO uses her oven to store plastic drink bottles,I kid you not:D :D :D :D :D .She was never able to get the mouse ****hit smell out of it so it is a cupboard(only stinks when it gets hot).
When I was working on the farm we only had gas hotplates and a really nice woodstove(GREAT IN WINTER,PLUCKED IN SUMMER).We bought a really good microwave/convection oven at the time. She loves it so much she dont bitch about not having a real oven.BUT I WILL ONEDAY buy her a really nice stainless oven, its just stuck on the list behind the winch AND lockers:D :D :D :D

:D :D :D
I bought mine one 3 years ago because the mice had eaten the wires. Each year another element goes. Could understand except we only use the oven once a month at most.

Mine too. The dryer failed, then the HDD in the PC died. I can't afford a new dryer - I got the bill for the oil pump failure on the P38A today. It could have been a lot worse. Oh, it is. I borrowed my daughter's Pug 405 when the P38A was off the road and it lost compression on one cylinder as I drove to work. It's down at the local Pug/Citroen specialist, European Autocare, for a quote.
I need some overtime!

I am away in Jakarta for the Red Bull air-race weekend Andrew but by god if I wasn't I would not let mere poverty keep me away. I reckon that's gonna be awesome.
Interesting about wood stoves, I like those Metters stoves and even better Agas as much as I like Land Rovers. Ive always wanted one and hoped they did not get too hot in summer to even consider but you seem to suggest they do make the kitchen too hot in a Western AUssie summer.

Hi Zook
Been there done that lots of times,it really stinks BIGTIME.Even left it running for 2 hours flat out,no difference. The hotter it gets the worse it gets. The joys of buying a house left unoccupied for a while.

then its not in the oven.....but in the oven housing or insulation.......
which isnt getting hot enough to burn it off.....inside the oven would be like an incinerator........
nothing would remain in there.......
have you tried to take the oven out to clean under and around it.......
and a place where mice get into the kitchen is where the drain from the sink goes through the floor......
an exterminator told me to stuff the gap with steel wool.......when they eat this it rusts inside them and kills them.......
so they dont cause any more trouble.......

I sympathise with you Andrew, sometimes it seems as though it's impossible to get ahead.
The motor in the new RR decided it had had enough a few weeks ago although I new it would need replacing in the short term I didn't want it to be that short! Anyway thats having a new engine put in it at the moment so I will have to wait to get the other goodies I want for the D3:(:(

Hi Andy
Bad news about the oven n stuff.
I know nothing about ovens, (ours is electric) but last time it killed an element I pulled it to bits and changed it.
Have you considered taking it out and removing the housing etc and disinfect it?
Might be worth a try??
