i have a muppets dvd it has one of the greatest sketches by the muppets ever....
the merner-merna song... featuring animal.... its great after a few beers .... always gets a smile no matter how peed off you are... shame i havent got it at the moment... could do with watching it!
advice to any new migrants... dont buy a house over here until you have the money from the UK! (if thats where your coming from!) hence my need to watch it!
Anyways.... muppets = Legendary
Thanks
Steve

I drove a bus for a schoolies camp at Caloundra one year with a mate of mine. One of the leaders told me that us 2 oldies (late 40s and early 50s) were like the two hecklers from the Muppets.
I had to watch a couple of episodes when I came home to work out what he meant, guess what .... he was right! :arms:

The two hecklers were Statler & Waldorf.. another bloke and myself have been nicknamed after them. The rest of the staff reckon all we do in meetings is heckle. This picture is on my desktop

What do you mean used too???? Still do on Fox with the kids and on DVD when the kids hire or buy. Muppets from Space is one of the funniest movies out.
I like Pepe the prawn.

mmm living at Brother in Laws house at the moment . Looking for a house but have not found one yet. When i do will get Foxtel
Used to have Sky in the UK (same thing as foxtel infact owned by the same person) and i used to get home at about 4pm most days. And on one channel at that time was Dukes of Hazzard follwed by Airwolf, then Nightrider and to finish was the A team. That was on every day from 4.:D :D

didn't everyone growing up in the 80's watch the muppets?, or was that a kiwi thing, used to get a laugh whenever i saw those signs saying 'police do air patrols of the area' and people would scribble 'pigs in spaace' underneath. i graduated to 'meet the feebles'; classic muppet style show, just don't show it to the kids.

Does anyone remember "The 6 Million Dollar Man"? Kinda sounds like a cheap rebuild by todays standards dont it! :D
