Same here. Always use Firefox and Thunderbird and almost never have an issue with either. Started using them when Firefox was in Beta 0.5 version and have always loved what it can do. Right now I've got 5 pages of AULRO open and can flick between them and load/unload to my heart's content.

When I use firefox the text on the threads on Explorer.comrun into the advertising on the page so cannot read the posts - it is a page fornatting thing not font size. Don't have the problem with IE.
Maybe firefox is telling me to stay on AULRO and not surf the opposition - but then I do like winding them up:twisted:

I think the formating problems that you sometimes get with FF is because people take shortcuts with code so that it works in IE, but not in everything else.
Another happy FF user here :D

I think you are absolutely right. I use both Firefox and Konqueror - usually any site will work in one or the other - unless it is one that doesn't like my security settings, and in that case maybe I don't want to go there!

I tried it and it kept crashing my computer. Got rid of it, went back to IE, and all's been well.

In that case I would say there's something wrong with whats installed on your computer.

Absolutely correct! I do websites for living (a minort part one of many fun things I do) and I can tell you that IE is probably the worst browser on the planet. I usually test things on both platform: Mac (Safari/FF/IE) and Win (FF/IE) and in both cases IE does not follow HTML and CSS standards, has it's own 'work-arounds' and some sloppy/lazy coders target IE only which results in bad looking and bad working websites. That is not a surprise as it is still the most common browser, although a lot of people are making the switch. If you interested just do a search on 'CSS IE HACKS'... I tend to stay away from IE, but since most of people at work (including the gods) use IE I have to make sure it works (can't go up to the CEO and say: "hay, it's IE problem, bet a browser that works").
BTW, how many people are using NETSCAPE around here??

used Netscape 6 years ago for 6 months and got fed up with it so went back to IE. Been using FF for well over twelve months now and love it.
