Mobile Internet Access whilst overseas

I will be heading to the UK for 6 weeks shortly with my lap top and would like to have intenet access on it whilst there.....any suggestions?

Biggest question is: are you staying with someone or a hotel?
Most hotels have internet connection... other than that there are pre-paid internet accounts:
