Gotta love this place, people just bend over backwards to help each other out. I need a tent shifted from Vic to NSW during the Hols and Blknight has offered to do it, then Loanrangie needed a cargo barrier shifted and someone else jumps in to help. I would do the same if it were possible, as i am sure anyone else on the forum would. Thanks Blknight and keep up the good work everyone.

Maybe we could establish a business out of this and move things around the country, we could establish the AULRO Courier Service. We would all be rich. :D

Outerlimits has a courier thread. We could do the same thing here.

People trip around often enough.

I drive from Brisbane to Imbil/Gympie and back once a week. Not interstate but better than paying a courier or making a special trip.

Yeah, so we wont be rich but the money we save on courier costs will help. Beer is much cheeper than couriers. :D

Also having good mate as contacts in other States to check out items before you buy them on the Net - this place is GREAT.

Great idea, maybe we could make this a sticky so we can post our movements to let people know who's going where and when.

Yep, a sticky would be great, might be hard to keep track of who is doing what, maybe a forum for people asking for stuff to be checked out or moved or something. Matt

I agree, no wait, Im already doing it.... that was the intent for the helluva holiday post....

IMHO it doesnt need to be a sticky it needs its own sub forum much like the projects page could really be in technical but its its own entity for ease of perusal.

yep that way each thing can have its own thread and you dont have 10 people asking to get something shifted in one thread. Much less complicated but would require more work from someone, i would be happy to moderate said forum if required. Matt

Roll with this idea peoples - it's a good one!

I'd be keen to act as a 'courier' now and then on my travels - i sure know i will need a courier now and then as well.
