Great film, saw it last night.
They must be sticklers for detail as the first Landie you see has its bonnet up:D :D .
I was looking to see whether it was a series 2 or 3 and missed an important character. Later in the film I said who's this guy? Lucky my missus remembered or i would have had to see it again;)
Loved the scene with the Rangie in the carpark.

lol l saw casino royale, last night too at Morely WA.

thought it was better bond movie than most previous offerings

was unimpressed with the Aston Martin, rolling over when swerving at speed, no air bags deployed in passenger compartment when it crashed.

I was very impressed with that movie. Look foward to its conclusion...assuming there is one, as the ending kinda makes you think there is one.

I love the bit where he is mistaken for a valet parker...I won't ruin it for those who havnt seen it yet.

Most car have the seat ativate the air bag in the passneger seat. Hence why if you have no seat belt on you will not have an air bag

Yep saw it on saturday, i was going to post about them but dont have the net at home. I think PAG might have sponsored it or something. In the carpark scene all the vehicles were RRS's, D3's, Jags or Aston Martin's. Talk about product placement.

I really liked the movie, Daniel Craig has turned out to be an ok bond, i still prefer Brosnan. Matt

FORD sponser it now. Hence the aston, the landies, Jag and the crappy ford Mondeo he drives too. Was an uproar in the Uk that bond drove a BMW . Did not want one of our M16 bloke driving a german car , you know after the war and everything.

I thought it was a good film. Except the ending was a bit overdone.

For the last Brosnan movie, Ford supposedly paid $80million (including cars supplied) for sponsorship. Maybe it was a deal covering several movies.

And here's another mention for LR - the latest Clive Cussler book, Treasure of Khan - what vehicle drives thru a catastrophic flood, saves the lives of the hero Dirk Pitt, Al the sidekick and the beautiful woman?

Answer: A black supercharged Range Rover.

Mind you it belonged to the bad guy in the middle of Mongolia.
