Talking to a mate who hails from South America at work today. He was asking about my car etc and wanted to know about "this car the Payero" (his pronunciation not mine although I think we should all adopt it). Some confusion and much sniggering on his part, see, apparently, in Spanish Pajero translates as "one who masturbates" that is A W4NK3R!:D Now, I realise me little mate Juan may have just been having a lend of the "dumb Aussie" (as the two Greeks on the crew insist on calling me:eek: ) but it does explian why Itchymicky call their car Shogun in just about every other country in the world (and why I'll be looking at all those soccer mums driving their husbands penis extensions to drop off the kids at school differently from now on:twisted:). Remember folks independent front ends are for 2WD's.

Over the years I have heard this many a time, yet I have never found any documented evidence that Pajero is Spanish for "stroking the snake, playing your own fiddle, fine tuning your instrument of pleasure" etc

Apart from the fact the base model used to COME (yes I spelt it correctly moderators) with easily washable Vinyl seats:D

When they refer to "continental Europe" I assume they are only referring to parts of continental Europe as when I lived in Switzerland (2000 => 2006) there weren't any Pajero's - just Shoguns.

Ahh. You're at work. Did you get a new HP toaster and the HP1320n printer? If the latter, have IT updated the printer driver so you can print double sided, etc.? It took months of me chasing IT for them to finally get around to changing the printer drivers for the Mountain boxes.

For the years i owned my pajero , my friends always dubbed it the wenker car, from the spanish' to play with ones self'
Even on the pajero owners site nobody ever mentioned it from what i can remember.
But I must admit aside from oz i have never seen name pajero on any car, have seen montero in the us, shogun in the uk, shogun in chile, can;t recall seeing any in europe though, but did see a toyota echo with a tdi motor in italy.
Must ask my spanish speaking frind in the flaklands if there is any element of truth to the term.

No to all the above but I had a play with one a few weeks ago at a different location, very nice. Well as crap toaster go anyway.
