Tie fighter game help

Ok, i've been trying to get tie figher to work on my XP maching using dosbox, however even using a full install I can only get to the install screen with uninstall as essentially the only option. I really wanted to play this again and I was wondering if anybody else had managed it?

I did find a lucasarts patch today which I have to try as well. fingers crossed that works.

Yes I did have it installed on my old XP box. I can't remember what I had to do. Have you tried running the installation from win95 compatibility?

didn't run the install from 95 compatibility, that might help
