Are there other LR people working to day ,sitting at a work desk,crew room or at home waiting for the phone to ring. Merry christmas to you all fellow providers of service to the comunity.
As long as we can hang onto penellty rates evry day is sunday

Thankyou for your kinds words Sly, hope you have a good christmas, as for me I'm just counting the seconds till knock off time, oh and thinking what to buy with the penalty rates as well, now plasma screen or diff guards?

Well, I just knocked off....double shift on the "great rate" might be able to buy that Defender after all :p ......nah bugger that, will buy another Disco for the wife :p :D :angel: :wasntme:

Worked Christmas day also, will be back in today as well.
No penalty rates for me, just another day on the job, at least no management in though.

Finished as the on call officer for the local RFS district at 0900 Christmas day, does that count :D:D.

on call 24/7 for the next 3 weeks, spent yesterday arvo unblocking a sewer main, so thats 4 hours for the callout at double time and a half plus time and a half on top of that for "live sewer".:D

I'm working tonight. The penalties may pay for the next repair on the P38A. :(

Not this year. Actually worked 10 hr overtime shift last year but no big dollars. We are on a composite rate so get the same whether public hol or not. Even OT rate is now only 1.3 times. Will be working Xmas next year though.:mad:
