Took the missus out in Leon for a little drive (yes I said DRIVE). Went down the back roads towards Rocksberg and stopped at Zillman Crossing. (those who know the area will know) Back in the car and another Land Rover dawdled past, Bloodbox OLR 067. Saw us and waved, but didn't stop. We were a tad disappointed, but I suppose he had lots to do on a Saturday afternoon.
Always up for a chat.:p:p

G'day All, Numpty I dunno what Paul was thinking maybe he thought you needed some time on your own, he is possibly doing some small shake down cruises in the Bloodbox proir to him setting off into the distance (lucky B), I'm currently on night shift until early in the New Year so I won't be doing anything Land Rover until then, anyway all the best to you and yours cheers Dennis:wasntme:
PS Yes it was.

ummm...posted a reply...doesn't seem to have goin through...

normally I would stop Numpty. But we had been on the road for 3 hours in the heat and noise of the bloodbox. Added to that a few days in the bush and d***heads on the highway therefore the push for home was on.if you want to catch up or maybe go for a run with a few other series ppl from just area drop us a line, not far away.

yes Dennis just a test run, learnt a fair bit from it, never heard rattles like it....all in all a fantastic little trip, just up to Landcrapper park Jimna, place was full of idiots. Planning on going out to Carnavon Gogre around April May for a few weeks, bit of a tour up through Emerald and back down through Gaydndah etc.

Lets see if this one posts....

cheers:burnrubber:

All understood. It's just you don't often see someone you actually recognise from the site.
Hope you enjoyed your time away. Have only been to Landcrapper when hardly anyone there. Agreed it could be a haven for di*kheads.

G'day Folks :)

I'am back on after having no phone line for 5+ days, the Bl**dy line corroded in the pit over the road, it's had a repair order on it for 2 3/4 years now:mad: :(

Best wishes to All for the New Year and also Christmas wishes to OLR-067 (Paul).

Yep! a run and or a BBQ sounds like a good idea as there are a few of us loonies in the area  mid-late January could be good, it would have to fit in with Numpty's and Missus Numpty's timetables, but there would be a few goers I think.

Cheers:)

G'day....

Numpty is back from Hamo on the 18th Jan so the weekend 20th & 21st would be ideal for us. I will be working the following weekend and then Numpty will be back up north on the 31st Jan.

A little Series convoy would be great.
Paul...you might have a few rattles and shakes in the bloodbox but at least you don't get sunburnt. Something I have to remember when we go out in Leon is slip, slop, slap!! :D
For someone with 500+ posts to her name in a few months and no pics I don't believe there is a Leon ;);)

Bah you dont even seem to have a gallery.

(Happy new year, will ring later)

G'day Folks :)

That sounds like a good opportunity for a B-B-Q over on Bribie Island at one of those fancy Electrickery thingoes over on the Passage Side ;) If we are there early enough to snaffle one :D or it could be about time for Incisor to hold another of his famous B-B-Q's ;) What do you think Pedro:) might even get Vladd there in the Luxo-Barge:D

cheers

I would be up for a run in the secret squirrel project if I can get some sort of temp rego or something. Dont know if it will pass muster for a while yet. The later in January as posible or early Feb suits me.
