yep fellas..SWMBO wants to ditch her Disco and get a new 100 series or GU Patrol to tow a caravan......:( I have agreed and I could'nt coax her to a new Disco as she says the look like vomit...
Well I will alway have my Defender for off roading but he Jap crap can be a soft roader tow vehicle, with an aircon that works and carpet:D:D:D

78,79 & four door troopie come out in May and as Camo said 200 series Landcruiser 3rd quarter all said to be coming with TDV8 (if the info on Overlander forums is correct).

Some people love the look of the D3's (not me) - amazing how they polarise opinions.

I too would would be waiting for the Toyota V8TD - rumored to be twin turbo in the wagons, single in the 78 series

I must admit it does look a bit like a goldfish bowl designed by IKEA, still the shape has grown on me, much prefer the look of the RRS or RR. As for the Toyo, Dawg I'll forgive you, but expect a bagging ;)

Just a thought buy the 200 series and chuck the motor and box in the Fender, add the portals then go play. Then put the 300tdi in the cruiser. It'd still tow the caravan.

That's just the thing Toyota are bring out some serious fire-power this year. If the 4 door troopie comes with Auto I reckon they will clean up with that.:mad:

On the bright side at least they haven't got terrain response yet.:D

The stock D3s do look real plain jane.But look at Jamo's,RichardK's and GGHaggis's steeds,they look really good with a few add ons.
Nigel,take the good lady down to Southerns they have the D3 sitting there that will change her mind.A black HSE V8 with everything including a set of 22" pimp my ride wheels.It looks a million bucks,all yours for $99GRAND:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

That is a kick arze looking vehicle, a cruiser, pootrol etc can't hold a candle to it. Plain jane my buttsky :eek:
