Does anyone know the manufacturer of the standard turbo on 300TDi's? Holset or Garrett?

Further to that, does anyone know if Garrett do a ball bearing unit that is a bolt on replacement?

there is no such thing as a bolt on to the existing factory exhaust manifold replacemnt turbo for a 300tdi,
the turbo exhaust housing is cast into the exhaust manifold
SO you need to replace the exhaust manifold also
