The 4BD1 in my County is idling rougher than it used too, and getting worse over time. Also, power seems down a bit so I suspect the injectors need a service. Can anyone recommend a mechanic Brisbane Southside? and an idea of the cost?
TIA
Bruce.

there is a diesel place on kingsford smith drive that i had my landcruiser fuel pump and injector over hauled, they did good work. before finding this site i asked them about injectors for my defender and they were only too pleased to offer advice, well there wasn't much advice but they were helpfull.
you didn't get a tank full of crappy fuel, maybe some fresh fuel, injector cleaner and some new filters, check for air leaks

I had my injectors tested and nozzles replaced a few years back by Diesel Australia at slacks creek. Cost under $100 each for new nozzles I recall (I did the remove and refit).
May not be the injectors though - you can take them the whole vehicle and ask them to check it out.
