a few more questions... relating to oils coolants ect

Hi Guys..

i Need you expertise here please!

1, Coolant - red Oat stuff required... but i seem to struggle to find it in concentrate or premix form.. i always see the green stuff... the question i have is.... is this stuff suitable... doesnt say OAT anywhere..

1a, What would you dilute 50/50 with? tap water or distilled water?
1b, also what do people use to flush out the cooling system?
1c are there any air traps that i have to watch out for? (sorry just want to cover all angles!)

2, im looking at getting the Oil pump bolt done.. as i think its a wise precaution... i have been quoted $338 which i think is a bit hefty... and im probably capable of doing it myself while the ECU is off for tweaking.

what parts will i need to complete the job? im thinking...

bolt
Sump Gasket
Oil Filter
Degreaser, Loads of!
loctite
rags
and a huge sheet to stop ruining my drive!

anything i have missed? also any special tools that i need? (ie torque wrench ;) ) any special techniques that you can share too :)

i think thats it for now.... im sure i'll think of some more!

Any reputable parts shop or even Supercheap should have the OAT coolant on the shelf.
Failing that, try a Caltex servo.

I get it in pre-mix form from Supercheap, it's a 50/50 mix with coolant and distilled water

Have any of you used water wetter for coolant . works really well. As it says in the name . It is wetter than water:)
