i Want to get a set of extractors for the 4.4 but theres no listing for them.
Would rover 3.5,3.9 fit?? or would i have to change my heads to rover ones??

Std 3.5 ones should fit, the block is only slightly wider and taller (1") for clearance issues. around the starter may be tight though. I had a set custom made for when i put a 4.4 in my toyota surf, they were a pain in the ass for leaks at the gaskets (vibration making them eat into the gaskets) and stripping head threads, should have fitted studs! from what i have seen rover SD1 car manifolds are the best, or 3.9 disco ones, they both flow very well. to change to rover heads is quite a big job as you need to get an oil supply to the rocker shafts, the P76 ones are fed by hollow pushrods from the lifters, which are also different from rover ones. you need to have holes drilled from the deck face to the oil gallery, right down through the block.

to over come drilling the block for a oil gallery to feed the rocker gear
just use holden lifters and that will supply oil thru the push rods to your rocker gear :p

Yea rover ones fit, don't bother unless your manifolds are stuffed, otherwise its a waste of money better spent elsewhere:o

But as said before you would be better off with Rover 3.9 manifolds, which are 4 into 2. Is your 4.4 in a Range Rover? If so you can use the standard 3.9 pipes, maybe with a little bend to account for the higher block.
If not you can have pipes made up from the Rover flanges etc.
It will flow as well as extractors, be quieter, and not leak at head or other joins.

The P76 ones already do that, the rover heads need a pressurised oil feed to the rocker shafts or they will destroy themselves, the drip feed just ain't enough, or in the right place.
