Hi Banjo
I did this on "My Toy"
The extended army shackles are available from 4WDs Melb.
I only extended the front "dumb irons" wasnt needed on the rear.
You need to have a close look at a military chassis,as they are extended.
I used 50x50x1.6 gal tube.Cut the original off level with the chassis, you will find it is re-inforced internally. The 50x50 needs to be shaped to suit it will slip up inside.
Once its all welded up you then plate up between the chassis and the original dumb iron and you know have the extended Dumb Irons that look factory.
I have postedpics elswhere on the net,god knows where,I still have pics put they are non digi. Will see what I can find and post again

Hi Banjo
More pics as promised.
1st has the hanger extension internal bit(missed it when I looked first time)
2nd is the crosmember mod to stop the tailshaft fouling with greater flex.
3rd it the Cleveland engine mounts/room to fit remote oil filter hoses to the Cleveland V8.

Its a standard Ser3 Chassis, that new Xmember thats confusing you is to replace the one that holds the steering relay.I cut that out and re-inforced the relay.
