Started to bleed the brake system and clutch system today. Some thing was wrong!. The brake fluid was going down with slow pumping and bleeding, Then the level started to drop even quicker. Couldn't find any leak initially till I took the drain bolt out off the bell housing. Out came the green fluid!!!!
I am sure I had the plunge clip in place properly when I mounted the gearbox on Obviously it wasnt on properly and the piston in the slave cylinder popped and leaked brake fluid.
Bloody hell and ^%**!, The only way I can put the plunger back on is to remove the bell housing. It is held on by a plastic clip that slides over the clutch release bearing arm.
Then to top off my day the brake safety switch is leaking and that was new!.
