In the late 1990s, the Hema Central Australia map used to have a picture of what I think was a RR at Chambers Pillar, so when I was there in 1999, I replicated the photo with my SIII in place of the RR. Having it as my wallpaper helps me remember what a great trip that was from SE corner of Australia to NW corner via Oodnadatta track, Lambert centre (exact geographical centre of Australia), Tanami Track and Gibb River Road.

Flames. Pedro, you seem to have a recurring theme there mate.

Trying to get my desktop photo posted, Ha! So far I have uploaded it to ImageShack.

Taken by me, sunset, looking west, late 1990, Roonies, Frazer Island. The 2 master is my old ship One and All, a "jackass brigantine". The 3 master is Our Swannen, a full brig, built 1890's in Norway, I think. And the little lump, is the first mate rowing in to the beach, to pick us up.
