Is that a series cab back under the Defender cab roof?
UncleHo
20th February 2007, 10:34 PM
G'day Incisor:)
No, Series truck cab won't fit, that is a 110/defender one, windscreen's different, and the roof line profile is different as well;)

No, it's a series back because the sliding window has sharp, square corners, the oneten has rounded corners.

Clarkie
Just a thought, you have a roof and walls from the car, why not just cut them back a bit and rivett in a bit of sheet aluminium. Instant canopy, from what you've done allready it proves your more than capable of doing a bloody good job and a canopy would cost next to nothing to make up.

IFOR WILLIAMS!
Get me one while you're at it. I might just make mine a ute.

he hasn't got the roof any more, it now lives in sydney at lrhybrid100's place.
canopy's cheap anyway, only $750 to australia. takes 10 mins to fit or take off. too easy
dobbo
24th February 2007, 01:28 PM
well that kind of kills that idea then doesn't it
UncleHo
24th February 2007, 01:41 PM
G'day Sclarke :)
Any Series H/top Ex-wreckers would do, you could then fit in reverse or forward, and just make the front partition the way you want, could even fit sliding window, to make crawl or talk through ;)
cheers

Right, that's it. As much as I dislike it, I am going to use IE, to find these bloody photo links. For some infuriating reason, not one photo, if in the thread, or a single link, shows up in my Firefox browser. One of us is doing this not right, can't be me, I'm never wrong, some times I may not be correct, but I am never wrong.:p
Shorty.

Looks good Steve,
But did you think of getting it modded by Farm Ute Car Kits Universal or Farm Ute Car Kits Yass, Orange & Ulludulla

Yep. I think the Grommet ute looks alright. Some lights, and a big black chunky bar on the front, cherry.
Strange, IE showed me the pictures, but would not let me log in to the site, Firefox logs me in automatically, but won't show me photo's posted in a thread.
Computers, bah humbug.
But, Grommet looks just fine to me. Hmm, I wonder how my panel van S3 would look with a Dakar style sloper back.
Shorty.
