Indicator lag???

Hi all,
I've got an ongoing problem with the left turn indicator. On cold mornings it takes about 20 to 30 seconds to work. As the engine bay warms up and also on warmer mornings, it seems to work fine (maybe a bit slower than the usual). The right has no problem.

Has ayone else had this problem or know what it is and how to fix it?

Its in the switch at the steering wheel.

The grease gets dust and thickens up.

Clean out the contacts in the indicator stalk and all shall be fine..

What vehicle? Disco IIs have separate relays for left and right indicators. It could be one of them failing. We have replaced a few.
