It's a bloody repeat of last weeks.
Having said that, if you didn;t see last week - go an watch NOW. The Bugatti Veyron (fastest production car ever) being raced across Europe. Envy is my new middle name.
SBS must have thought Top Gear wouldn;t rate against the Oscars, so they bunged on the repeat. Me personally any excuse NOT to watch the Oscars will do.

No it was a supercar special.
Had the stigs best times in supercars, the race between the Buggati and the Cessna, the crappy old maseratti and the Lambo roadster with the stupid roof.
I hadn't seen a few of them so I thought it was great.
Great to see that Buggati again mmmmmm
I'd consider swapping the disco for that, but only consider it and take a free test drive.

The Bugatti is **** off road.
4 blank spaces, so it is not "not off road", can't be "king off road", it gets scared crossing on to the verge. Nope, pass, next question please.
Shorty.

I could watch top gear for hours and days
and days and days
and I wish I was producing it
it's sooooo good
it should be on for hours at a time, then we could catch up to current.....
I thought Jeremys description of the Cessna 182 as a washing machine was a bit rich - they're more like an early Vee dub beetle with wings;)
been there

You obviously don't know what the front of a jag looks like.

Someone in the car style business gave a fascinating description of this type of front end design - as once seen on the Edsel - and currently applied to the new Subaru Tribeca - its known as 'the flying vagina'.....

The Bugatti grille isn't even a good modern rendition of the original Bug grilles.

The donk and box in the 2500 PI Triumph were pretty special tho'......

Probably doesn't really matter what the front looks like, most people will see the back of it!:D

But many cars are so beautiful, unlike some of their owners...see above:twisted:

Yes it was rather weird having a repeat of a segment that was on two weeks earlier (I know the whole show wasn't a repeat) but I still watched every second of it. Grinning like crazy with Clarkeson in the Veyron saying "I wish this was a late-night show then I could tell you what I really think about this car. It's bleeping bleep bleep fantastic!" and at the bit where he had to "go to DEFCON 3". LOL.:D
I so want one - just for a day!

and then the next day, and then the next.
As long as:
a) someone else is paying the fuel / insurance/ repair bills
b) you're in Europe where is many places there are more logical speed limits than here
c) you're in Europe where even small towns have roads of a higher quality than the so called "National Highway' in Australia
d) Your life insurance is paid up.

I don't think you could afford to run it by the time you payed for life and car insurance on that thing.

I was just having a troll around wrecked exotics (www.wreckedexotics.com (http://www.wreckedexotics.com)) and I see that someone has pranged their Veyron. Expensive crash I would think.

I prefer www.exoticspotter.com (http://www.exoticspotter.com) - just has pics of the cars - perhaps becuase I can;t handle the sight of a smashed Aston !
Here's what happens when you park a Vanquish in the snow.

Perhaps they need a heated roof / bonnet / bootlid for the Russian market ?

Yes quiggers. That little fuel injected six was some engine in its day. Will it fit on the front of a Series t\case, I wonder? I know where one is. As for Top Gear, bugger, I forgot all about it. But it was a semi repeat anyway.

I wouldn't worry about missing SBS's Topgear episodes currently on air. We are watching the 7th series, they started the 9th series about 3 weeks ago in the UK. You can get the DVD's of the episodes that SBS hasn't even played yet from Virgin, Sanity etc..
You all know that Hamster stacked a jet car at 250mph right? Because of that they delayed the 9th series by over 6 months I was told.
Here are some cool Top Gear vids from various seasons. You should definately check out the one that is simply called 'Land Rover' http://www.car2max.com/topgear#t
