That's 'cos it's not a Rangie.
Range Rovers have "Range Rover" on the tailgate - this one has "Land Rover" :D

And I don't understand. We are all pulling off out D2 bumpers and replaceing them with steel ones cause the plastic D2 bumpers are so crap....why would someone want to put it on a Rangie.

That's pretty close but if you look hard enough you'll see it's not a D2 bumper.
All D2 rear bumpers are half and half lights, blinker/fog on the early D2s and Fog/reverse on the late models D2a.

Interesting series of mods on that one, looks pretty neat, tho'....
Lifted, wheels, tyres, side rails, different name, custom rear bar, flares...

Even stanger, when i was next to it at the lights, i would lay money on it having a D2 dash as well. It was not a Range rover dash and not even the range rover soft dash. But i was in a Holden ute at the time so i was a bit lower:)

There used to be one around here in Sinney that had a Commodore dash.
I used to see it at the local LR specialist.

Looks like a **** truck to me, but each to there own
Not my cup of tea at all, plus the 'Land Rover' decal looks crap and is sacralidge. Belongs on lesser vehicles (like Discoveries :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: )

Therefore and by that argument, mick, you are then saying that LR didn't get the classic right either:twisted:
doesn't matter (as Con the Fruiterer said),
so long as its a Land Rover, we're all mighty fine...!
Actually I can't see why there is some form of rivalry about these two vehicles (RR classic and D1) - their underpinnings are the same as are many panels - never quite understood this....

Well said. You just can't berat the original.
Thought about crossing to the 'dark' side but I just can't do it. Rangie man til the day I die
They can spy on me all they like, they'll get pretty bored wathing me after a while

I have both :o
The Disco gets treated well, is the school pickup bus and used on touring holidays.........and I don't think I have ever been away without it breaking down.
Rangie is 30 years old, gets trashed like nothing else and always runs sweet. (almost).:p
