110 tray hieght

Can someone tell me the hieght from the roof to the deck on the tray of a 110, and if the tray can be lowered, buy how much.

As there are so many manufacturers of both steel and aluminium trays, you will probably get slightly different figures from other owners.
The aluminium tray on mine shows signs of having been on a different vehicle or at least attached to the chassis in a different way.
With all those qualifications, these are the figures for mine.

Top of roof to deck of tray:- 960mm
Distance from mounting risers on chassis rails to top deck of tray:- 220mm
Thickness of tray including stiffening ribs:- 30mm
Clearance between tyre and bottom of stiffening ribs:- 110mm
Clearance between rubber buffer and axle:- 120mm

As you can see from those last two figures, I can rub the tyres on the bottom of the deck. I don't think it has ever happened just from hitting a bump, but I have done it when the front axle tilts one way and the back tilts the other.
The tyres are standard 235/85/16 fairly well worn.
I had considered lowering the tray a little bit to keep the top of my slide-on camper as low as possible, but obviously I need to leave it where it is or even raise it about 10mm.
According to my calculations, the top of the roof is about 1180mm above the top of the chassis risers and the top of a 30mm thick deck should be about 950mm below the roof to clear the tyres.

UncleHo got me thinking (now look what you've done), with those measurements i could get a heaps better canopy built than what i have. basically i hate vans and really like the canopy style for working out of (electrician), one of my previous employers had a great canopy on his Chevy pickup, it was so good to work out of, but the one i have is a tad cramped and being a Commadore its rather low and i find it difficult to get into as i'm 6'4".
