As you all know i just bought a disco.
Its great that you don't have rust. I have never worked on a Land Rover that bolts come off so easy and no need for the electric spanner. Make jobs take so much less time. Undid the brake pipes last night and they are useally a nightmare and they came off easy along with the front shocks. You have to cut them off in the Uk but just came off easy

:) :) :) :)

You obviously haven't seen too many beach vehicles yet... I saw a 2yo 130 at an auction once - ex national parks and wildlife on moreton is. You could pull chunks of the chassis away with your hand.

its pleasant isn't it!!!

I was soooo used to LR falling to pieces when in the UK, but here even my old 1987 Rangie only had a bit of surface rust - prob as good as a 2 year old Disco in the UK!!!

I wouldn't like half the cars over here to go through an MOT check though!!!

Imagine the face on the MOT tester when you drive up in a 20 year old Rangie and his hammer does NOT go through the chassis!!!
