Well it might as well have been Friday the 13th not the 2nd of March.
Finaly got to the dealer on said date and picked up the Defender 130 from them and had a trouble free drive from Sunshine Coast to Toowoomba, was very happy with the drive all up.
Then the idea hit, to pack the dogs and girlfriend and go for a longer drive to see my Mother in Rockhampton just this Monday.
Once again trip went well, now know to get the windows tinted to help the aircon and stop that trucky arm happening as much.
Headed back down the coastal road and then thats when it happened 15klm north of Gympie....it all went dead! Yep no power (electric that is) lucky I've had 2a and Ser3 before, and went ahead and did all the usual checks, and found ignition fuze was at fault(60a).
So tow truck back to dealer slept in it for the night as we got there at 8pm, got them on the job this morning and they had to bypass the brown white wire that was at fault and then drove with fingers and toes crossed.
Lucky we made it safe and sound back to Toowoomba this arvo.
Now for the trip to Melbourne next week just for even more fun !!!!!!!!
