Need some ideas guys, got a bad vibration when i go over 80k's gets real bad closer to 100 can feel it even through the seat, it almost hums.
Got a 95 Tdi manual and the clutch is on it's way out, could this be it?.

Gday Wortho,
How was the Barringtons? funny thing, last time i came back from there had the same problem as you, it ended up being a uni in the front drive shaft had crack slightly. Check out your drive shafts.

Sounds very possible be a hell of a coincedence if one of mine goes coming back form there also. Had a great day though Lisa did the whole of Carey's peak lookout trek 1545mtrs high with an 18 kilo pack this time. How was wallaroo tonight sorry i couldn't make it but wasn't game with this vibration.

Sounds like a good trek!
We had some fun, it was just me and Chris, just exploring some tracks we have never done, found a great one, not to hard but interesting terrain, will have to show you, we might be heading back out tomorow as well.

I've got a missing bolt on the rubber coupling on the rear propshaft. Would that cause it.

.......absoluetely yes!......check to see if the rotoflex is OK otherwise!

Yes that would cause the vibration.

Yep it looks ok, uni joint on the back is new, front unis arn't cause i am going to replace the whole front propshaft.
What kind of bolt should i use?
