Got a pair of videos to post showing Gordon walking up a tough hill and Baz in his 80SER having a tough time of it.Baz eventually made it but I ran out of memory space on the camera.I shows how good the D3 is,OK Gordon has more off-road experience, but Baz is preyty good. The 80Ser with the standard LSD and 33"MTRs is no match!!!!
Will post them elswhere and add links on a seperate thread. Will do the same on 4WD Monthly, will get them tojo pilots jumping up and down:cool:

On 4wdmonthly their excuse will be that the 80 series is a mid 90's model up against a 2005 model or some crud like that.

More importantly who owns the duel cab 110?

G'day All, great pix and video, I have some super 8 film taken about 30 years ago (almost) on a trip in the Buladelah SF (NSW) we had 13 vehicles on this trip and I laid down in a deep rut and let a 4WD go over the top of me, as it passed I panned around to watch it go down the steep hill, shame I'm a dummy when it comes to this techno/crat stuff anyway I still enjoy looking at all the exploits of others cheers Dennis:wasntme:

Believe me, that hill is steep and full of loose rocks, with a short steeper gravel climb at the top, a great challenge.

The D3 is an incredible machine

Some good pics there Andy!

It was a pleasant day, despite the number of track that are no longer there, or traversable. Honestly, with all the devastation the logging has been responsible for, you wonder how on earth anyone could complain about 4WDrivers, as they were a couple of years ago. As if any erosion we caused could even be compared to what is (not) there now!

Thanks to Richard for taking the time to lead us - Jeff, I hope it wasn't too 'mundane' for you!!

I'll have a video compiled later in the week, and I'll post some snippets on YouTube.

Cheers,

Gordon
