As some of you may have read in my introduction thread I'm a bit of a paintball nut. this is the reason i havent gone 4wding all that much lately, mainly because all my money goes into mods and other cool things for paintball.

the first marker is a Tippmann A5, semi automatic, can shoot 15 balls per second with a dual trigger in SEMI auto. all up ive spent $1500 on this marker, so an extra $1000 from what she originally cost me, i did the punisher logo myself and the marker's nickname is punish ya.

my second marker is a Smart Parts Ion with Blackcell kit on it. i know its hard to see exactly what it is because of the ghillie camo
https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2007/03/186.jpg

the reason behind the ghillie camo is because i also have this.

the hat and wond were because my mum couldnt stop laughing when she first saw me in it.

and my 3rd and final marker, which i will collect as soon as my PTA comes in will be a Sheridan K2, this thing is about 20 years old. in the USA would cost about $500-$600 bucks depending on condition, a mate sold it to me for a case of Beam and Dry.

this Sunday there is a big game scenario being held at skirmish samford, the scenario for the game is Team America. ill post up my helmet camera video from the weekend next week

Brilliant markers... have always loved a game myself but never had a chance to get into comps because the GC ones were cancelled yeas ago and i'm too lazy to drive to brissy for them. Do like the fields at Blacksoil though.

Whats the deal with licencing for markers? Used to be the same as pump action shotguns... still the same or changed?

Richard

i used to work for the field at blacksoil, great bushball fields.

the guys that own the field at mudgeeraba own the field at samford as well, you should come up to one of the club days, you would certainly enjoy it and well worth the ride up.....if you do wanna come up theres a few guys on the coast that drive up,

yeah paintball markers are Cat A firearm have to jump through so many hoops to get one, more so than a "real " firearm, we need club member, and special condition on our licence for paintball

What about Glocks? Are Glocks permitted? :p

Richard

no glocks, you dont want people to stay down after you hit them....you can get paintball pistols, however Australian law prohibits them....which totally sucks!!!

I used to live in the UK paintballing in the UK has been legal for years I have been many times, but not for a long time.
I got into it years ago do the following brands mean anything too you or are they before you time?:

crossman< six shot revolver, yes, revolver.
splatmaster< plastic about 8-12 balls per cartridge so i remember
bushmaster < pump action, most reliable gun ever! it always ran at little to much pressure though, don't know why;);)

All good fun even if you got a bruise here and there, (mostly there):(

One of the funniest things I ever saw, (even though it was stupidity) was my mate with a splatmaster, his ball broke in the barrel and tried to fish it out with his finger so while looking down the barrel it went off and he shot himself in the forhead from about 10 inches away.
He was OK but I laughed so much it hurt.

Richard

the splatmaster and the bushmaster ring a bell, you occasionally see a bushmaster come out now and then.....and it really shows the persons age.

the Sheridan bolt action im getting will hopefully be converted to pump action, if not, lever action hehehehe. im getting it for a case of beam and dry but in the US they go for $500 US, because everyone is getting into the old school paintball markers!!

hehe you should see our tank!!

and paintball paint will actually eat into painted surfaces if left there. and will eat into the finish of the plastic lenses on our goggles
