You can certainly get VOX headsets (and I think even throat mikes with VOX) for the Uniden handheld UHFs. But intercom as well...

Looks like this product will do what you want.

Their intercoms have an optional lead that will connect to a UHF CB ( or so they say )

just to expand on the above criteria,,
intercom must be cordless---
and carry both voices at the same time,,
and intercom and UHF must be in the same box---
can it be done?

Yes. My local Aldi has them on clearance at $69 each. They were $99 and have been there for months, slowly selling.

I had a look today, they still have two left. They look to be the same as these:

If you want them, I can buy them and send them to you.

So did you get one in 2007 Pedro?
Looking for a good intercom for the 101.
Preferable a VOX , happy to have it hard wired. Noise cancelling would be good.
Perhaps ability to pipe in some music or the CB would also be handy.
Tips or recommendations anyone?
I am familiar with Aircraft ones but looking for something a little lighter (and cheaper)
(You probably have an old one sitting in the shed that you bought 5 years ago Pedro!:p)
