Right I have a small project - to remove the TC replace the front housing c/with CDL and replace it

I have the following

Front Housing c/with CDL
Plate to assist in removal of TC
Full seal . gasket . o ring kit
99% of the tools required
Plenty of beer, food, etc., land for tents, campers etc.,

so who fancies volenteering to give me a hand to remove old tc case, convert it, then put it back in.;)

When did you have in mind Ladas ???

I'm still trying to delay our departure to Mitta Mitta so I can go on the Toolangi trip .... then there's Easter ... then there's Rovercare's Walhalla trip (haven't got clearance for that yet).....Ooops, nearly forgot the mountain Cattlemens get together , W/End 21st April .....

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

May/June sometime ???

I'd be happy to help, and have a beer or two with you anytime.

Thats almost 500km each way! So if I came down would you fancy dropping the Auto out of mine at the same time? It would also need to go back in so I could get home again.

Thanks Dave, but just a tad too far to drive.

I tried the gizmo on Hiline's defender - no go I am afraid.

Well it all started in ernest today, the frount housing arrived from Alice Springs, complete with quite a bit of Red Dust.

I have started a new thread in the project area (i won't even begin to say it's a tutorial, well it is but I am the only 'student')

So if your interested follow the story.
