I want to plant some trees.

How many do i have to plant to eat all the Co2 the Landy V8 makes a year.

Can I use existing trees or is the growing thing important....

Can you chop them down at the end and sell the timber?

Do they stop or reduce the amount of CO2 they eat as the tree reaches maturity.

Should go in the Bio Fuel thread but there's hardly anyone there and I need answers!!!!!

And there's somewhere for the birdies and koala bears to live! :D

But seriously, is HEAPS of tree ENOUGH! I mean it's pumping out about twenty tonnes a year of CO2 I heard so I'm thinking that might need a huge forest...! Or is it just one gum tree.

WHA!!!

BTW, I'm going away for two weeks as of in five minutes time so I want some answers people.....

Cheers and Happy Easter to yous all!

This website (http://www.mycarbondebt.com/content/our-approach/current-projects.shtml)reckons they plant 11 trees for every tonne of CO2.

And here's the place that plants the trees, and has the ebay store, to sell the carbon credits, to offset the car that Jack bought (http://www.tist.org/index.php).

Cheers
