Can't think of the name...!

I am desperately trying to remember the name of a very unusual British comedy series that was on the ABC a few years back. I believe Dawn French starred in it, it was set in a coastal town somewhere. It was about two ladies and they were always in the same bed together... Does this ring any bells? A few people have remembered it by the two women always in bed together but cant put a name to it.
