Just thought i would report in and tell everyone how the 11th Ace's BBQ is going, went up Mt Airlie today and near the end of the track on the way up i stuffed my rear diff centre, i'll get some photos up later, but the centre pin sheared in half and dropped the spider gears in, crown wheel is ok but every other gear is stuffed.
So the big question is who has a spare Disco 1 rear diff centre sitting around, 24 spline, that they dont need and can get in the post to me asap, need to have the car up and running by friday cause we are going to wagga. PM, or post here if you have a diff centre, or ring me 0428969828.
I will get a trip report done with some photos done on monday if i can.

Matt,
Ring Brad at KLR or Brian at Land Vehicle Spares on Tuesday. If needs be, I can go to either one of them for you.

Matt,
Also try Gary at CLR in Springwood (in LROC mag) or Bundalene (eBay name) aka Erich Ebe - erichebe@bigpond.com at Wetherill Park (I think)

Why do you think I've got a spare? :D (I picked it up of eVilBay for $50 - it beats the $1000 I paid to have the rear repaired when I broke it. The C&P cost nearly that.)

What a weekend. Breakages for each day.:o
Clunky spat the front wheel bearings 10km from Ace's on the way there.
Someone span a tyre on the Friday before I got there.
Saturday saw Ace's rear diff go and one Rangie transfer also went on strike half way up Mt Airley.
Sunday and Lauchlan (My 5yo) coped a rock to the head so the 130 became the trip ambulance. We have photos on the head and one of the video's shows the disco go past, spit the rocks, You then hear the screams and it ends with Ace yelling out is the any blood. Great timing on the video.
All is good though and all we have to do now is sort out Ace's diff. Those that didn't make it missed a great and exciting weekend.

I think i might have the diff sorted, Lokka and Cal415 have the bits, we are going to use a classic rangie diff centre, and swap in a 24 spline hemisphere so my axles will go in.
If that doesnt work do you have one Landrovermick?
