Hi All
I have been messing around with getting OziExplorer up and running. It's not too bad so far, a couple of teething troubles but that's because of maps not the software.
Anyhow....... When I look at the speed it shows around half the actual KPH I am traveling at,, any Ideas why?

I haven't had any problems with oziexplorer and the speed shown in the moving map control is correct.
If you had it configured to mph, then 1kph = 0.625mph

this took me ages to work out on oziexplorer CE
1, wrong speed unit and mode of transport selected.
2. wrong gps and map configuration
3. map not in correct format or calibrated correctly.

Hi
In all the preference tabs the maesurments are in KPH or Km's that I can find
except this one not too sure what it's for, (see attached).
The other tabs refer to distance in File > Configuration > then Tabs Maps & GPS Sim am I missing one from anywhere?
***edit **** its store track point interval, I assumed that how often it records coordinates or something like that so i assumed it would be M not Km

All units, including speed (kph) are set in the map tab (of the configuration dialog).
The store track point interval in the moving map tab, configures the intervals between saved points in the track log.
If you are unaware of the track log, it is a trace of the path you travel, while in moving map mode (like Hansel and Gretel making a bread crumb trail). You can display the track (in moving map mode) by turning on show tracks in the view menu (or icon on tool bar). You can save the track to a file.
Saved tracks can be useful. For example some tracks are not shown on maps. They are easy to navigate along. You can display the profile in several ways eg. altitude vs distance or speed vs distance (view menu > tracks > profile).
