Well Easter 2007 at Esperance is over. Started well Friday with the terrorist squad of LandyAndy, Deb, Lindsay & Kane, Graz & Jenny arriving in town and frightening all the locals. BBQ Friday night went well with Jamo & Joan also attending. Plans were made. Saturday was a good day out at the beach near Cape Le Grand, warm with some showers but most missed us. Had the buggy in the sand (no photos from me as battery flat, LandyAndy may post some). Some swimming etc. Back to Wylie Bay area for some fishing, not much luck, Graz got a couple of herring. Quiet night Saturday. Sunday laid back, tourist loop looked at, but rain and cold weather setting in (becoming regular at Easter in Esperance). Did think of fishing but too much rain and wind. Back to our place for a couple of drinks. LandAndys mob stayed for an impromptu BBQ and Mel & Deb tried to drink the wine rack dry, not to mention the shooters. A good night was had by all. Monday met at Jamo's and planned a drive out to Qaggi Beach, weather not great, but did some coastal 4x4 tracks and when we stopped for lunch and attempts at fishing the rain and wind stopped. As soon as we hit the road again down she came. Stopped off at Dalyup Winnery for some tasting and some supplies. Then back to Jamo & Joan's for pizza. The kids loved Jamo & Joan's Olympic sized Spa.
Some pics if I post them right. Is there any way of resizing the pics to a more viewable size???
Below Bee hive in a slight cave in rocks right on coast. Did not know if native or domestic bees so did not risk a piece of honeycomb.

Great to see you guys had a good time despite the weather, looks like it was a tad cold.
The fish must have been on the bottom.......all that lead made them sink!

Great pix Craig and Andrew

A bit of a shame about the weather though we both enjoyed our time at Esperance and the South Coast. The Camper was only a little damp when I packed it up.

Copped a screaming headwind on the way back to Perth ( don't :D Andrew ) I had to top up the tank at Brookton to make it back.
At one stage the best speed I could maintain was just under 90 KPH. Time for something with more power!!

Cheers

Must of been the same one that got us on friday, all the paddocks were blowing away!!!
Even the TD5 was struggling to hold 110ks on hills.

The TDV6 has no probs with driving into big headwinds, except that she is partial to a drink when it happens!

These are the only photos I took
