Guys,
This weekend i'm putting the ARB Salisbury Locker i have in the 130 housing into Grommet.
Where have you monted your compressor and where did you place the switches??
I have to look the switch placement more then the Compressor, Compressor can go in the Cab or under the front wing or even the rear guard. Cant go in the Drivers seat box as the Aux tank goes there.
Switches are improtant as i dont want any bugger just flicking them on while i'm on the Hwy..... thought of a kill switch on the RH panel that the rear demist and hazard goes to. And then the Compressor and rear locker switch on the Dash in the Center for more Bling.
Ideas with pix please.

My Comp is mounted to the top panel of the passenger foot well and switches in the center of the dash - but this is in the Series 3 Steve.
Do you have air con?? If not you should be able to chuck it there.
Just be really careful where you route the locker line, as they melt really easily if placed anywhere near the exhaust.
I ran mine through the convoluted tube, but any other sheath will help with some heat protection.
Dave.

i thought of on top of the Inner RH guard, behind the headlight.
I'm going to run the air line thru some 3/8 fuel line to the rear for extra protection.

The compressor went next to the rear seat. I realise this probably isn't much good to you :p
The switches are under the radio. This may also not be applicable in your fender. However what I did do was hang a loop of wire around the switches so they can't be bumped on :) I reckon it looks the ducks too :)

compressor location ideas:
behind the passenger side seat box, underneath? should be plenty of space there... or maybe on the inner side of the battery box above the transmission? exposed to the elements a bit maybe....
still thinking about where mine can/could/should go!

Those Switches look bling, the wire idea is good.....
Under the car for the compressor is ok, if i remount the filter....

my compressor is under the driver seat....no good for you
my switches are on the cubby box, nice and handy asi use the cubby as an arm rest and the switches are right at my finger tips
second compressor switch, good idea for my switches as they get bumped quite often

like others my comp is under the drivers seat, no good for you. in the engine bay would be ok, good airflow there. but mounting a filter or pulling air from the filtered side of the intake would be a good idea.
my swithches are in the removable centre section of the dash. easy to reach without taking you eyes too far off the track, or calling to the navaguesser to switch on/off.
i like to keep all switchgear in my forward vision for ease when driving.:)

Ok here are the interlocks I call them. They work **really** well, and they are simple :)
