Well I bought a set of Bosch lights to convert to HID.
The lights are easy to convert and well made etc but now I just need to but the HID conversion kits.
I was going to buy one from ebay as they are cheap and just try them.
Anyone got any experience with brands? Any better than another?
Thanks,
Dave.

Assuming you are looking at H1 or H3 globes. I have a set of 42 watt H1 HID's from ebay. The Supervision seller but the box says Xenovision. One of the balasts in my set packed up the second time they were turned on and I returned the set for a new set under warranty. So far they have been very good. There are 55 watt sets available now and I would look at them next time. Well worth the money.

Look good but for the price I would be happy to buy 2x ebay ones.
There is a store on ebay that does ones for $190 a pair in Aus, with 12mths Warranty.
I am going to buy 2 sets and they offered me a discount.
The store was FORCE HID i think, anyway I will but and fit soonish.

Note with this Guy...
Some of his stuff is not what i would call quality.
His Headlight looms are top notch.
The stuff pre packed from Taiwan and other places is complete crap.
i bought a driving light loom. Well i wasted $20...... the wires were so undersized it was crap.

Are you looking at a hi/lo kit or just a HID high beam with halogen low?

There was a thread on HID lights and good/bad quality stuff a few weeks ago. Might be worth a read:

And it is full of rubbish from someone who claims to know what he is talking about. Those of us who have converted to HID no better!!!
